The Seasonist ("we", "us", or "our") maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, and unlawful child labor in all aspects of our business operations and supply chain. We are dedicated to acting ethically, transparently, and with integrity in all business relationships, ensuring that effective systems and controls are implemented to prevent human exploitation.

Business Structure & Supply Chain

The Seasonist is a UK-based brand specializing in fragrance, bath, body, and home products. Our supply chain includes:

• Ingredient & Material Suppliers: Sourcing raw natural ingredients, essential oils, glass, and packaging components.

• Manufacturing Partners: Specialist cosmetic, fragrance, and product formulation manufacturers.

• Logistics & Warehousing: Packaging, fulfillment, freight, and delivery service providers.

• Professional & Digital Services: Marketing, web development, and administrative support.

Relevant Policies

We maintain internal policies to ensure our business is conducted ethically and responsibly:

• Supplier Code of Conduct: Requires all suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to comply with national and international labor laws, ensure fair pay and safe working conditions, and strictly prohibit forced, bonded, or involuntary labor.

• Ethical Sourcing Policy: Prioritizes partnerships with vendors committed to sustainable sourcing, traceability, and ethical employment standards.

• Whistleblowing Policy: Provides employees, contractors, and supply chain workers with a safe, confidential process to report concerns regarding human rights abuses or unethical practices without fear of reprisal.

• Fair Recruitment Practices: Enforces robust right-to-work checks for all direct employees and prevents recruitment fees or document retention by employers.

Due Diligence & Risk Management

To identify, mitigate, and manage modern slavery risks across our supply chain, we undertake the following steps:

• Supplier Vetting: Screening new supply partners prior to onboarding to ensure compliance with ethical employment standards.

• High-Risk Area Assessment: Monitoring supply lines involving raw material harvesting, agricultural sourcing, or manual labor where vulnerability to exploitation is elevated.

• Supplier Engagement: Maintaining close, long-term relationships with key primary suppliers to conduct regular reviews of workplace safety, labor conditions, and fair wages.

Training & Capacity Building

We ensure team members involved in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management understand the indicators of modern slavery and human trafficking. Relevant personnel are trained to recognize red flags and follow internal escalation procedures if concerns arise.

Measuring Our Effectiveness

We assess the effectiveness of our anti-slavery measures by monitoring the following metrics:

• 100% completion of ethical vetting for new manufacturing and primary supply partners.

• Zero recorded incidents or formal complaints regarding modern slavery in our direct supply chain.

• Timely investigation and resolution of any supply chain or human rights concerns raised.
